Loaded with colorful vegetables and melty cheese on a crispy crust, this Veggie Supreme proves plant-forward pizza can still be hearty and satisfying. It's endlessly customizable, too — swap in whatever's in season.
Ingredients
- 1 ball pizza dough (about 250g)
- 1/3 cup marinara sauce
- 4 oz shredded mozzarella
- 1/4 cup sliced bell peppers
- 1/4 cup sliced red onion
- 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
- Handful of baby spinach
- Handful of cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 500°F (260°C) with a pizza stone or steel inside.
- Toss the bell peppers, onion, and mushrooms lightly in olive oil.
- Stretch the dough and spread the marinara sauce evenly, leaving a border for the crust.
- Top with mozzarella, then scatter the vegetables and cherry tomatoes evenly.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, until the crust is golden and the vegetables are tender.
- Top with fresh baby spinach right out of the oven so it wilts slightly. Slice and serve.
